The 736th Security Forces Squadron is a dual-mission squadron with two very unique missions. The Contingency Response section provides first-in force protection for the 36th Contingency Response Group during air base opening, contingency, and humanitarian assistance operations throughout the Pacific area of operations.

2024年7月25日 · In the later weeks of July 2024, the 736 SFS (36 CRG) conducted beta testing of the USAF’s only Jungle Course, enhancing ground force capabilities in a jungle environment. The goal of the 36 Wing is to be prepared to execute the pacing OPLAN.

2020年7月13日 · ANDERSEN AIR FORCE BASE, Guam -- The 736th Security Forces Squadron (SFS) has officially relocated to Northwest Field. Prior to the move, the squadron was split, with the Squadron HQ and the Contingency Response section operating on Main Base and the Commando Warrior section at Northwest Field.

The 736th SFS has shown their commitment to preparing frontline security force members with invaluable training and have facilitated “Defensor Fortis.” “We are providing defenders everywhere the absolute best instructors possible in order for Airmen to meet the multi-domain threats facing the Air Force today,” said Cheng.

2023年8月9日 · Defenders assigned to the 736th Security Forces Squadron, Andersen Air Force Base, Guam, participated in Cope Thunder 2-23, July 13 – 17, 2023, at Mactan Air Base, Cebu, Philippines. The team was on a fly-away mission which consisted of providing security for aircraft, assets and personnel during the exercise.
