2003年11月24日 · I used the 7mm BR cartridge for HP rifle silhouette for a few years, and achieved the best precision out of 140 gr. Sierra Game King BT bullets with 29.3 grains of AA2520, which is the ball powder equivalent of IMR4895. The same load produced even better precision with Sierra 168 gr. HPBT Match bullets.

So, even if you could get what you ask for, there would be a lot of question marks behind the product from a safety and reliability perspective.

2004年1月30日 · Of the 7mm caliber cartridges I have used and observed, the optimum choices for bullets of 120 - 140 grains for distances up to turkeys and 150-168 gr, bullets for rams are as follows: 7mm-08 7mm IHMSA The 7mm BR is a marginal cartridge when it comes to reliably knocking down rams.

2013年6月16日 · Eventually, they all switched to more potent cartridges such as the 7-08s, or even the 7mm BR (which I still use for this game). Neat little round, though, an a lot of fun. Definitely a length issue involved in trying to stuff these in the 2.260" confines of an AR mag. I wouldn't bother in a gas gun.
