2015年8月25日 · Yes, you can do short-arc with 90/10 but there are some differences. Your voltage should be set about 1V lower than it would be with 75/25 gas. This is of course an approximation and depends on wire diameter, speed, etc. but is a good starting point.

I don't worry about the final adjustments being 70/30, 80/20, or 90/10 and I don't care if I see rib or no rib. I only care about the timing and break. (Just my way). I have a 350 mpa and I am running an 8rc feeder and a 30a spool gun. I do general fabrication work. It is a side project, but definitely the favorite of all the jobs I do. I recently switched to the 350 mpa from a trailblazer and I am looking to play around with the pulse settings. I currently run 90/10 gas for steel and argon for aluminum.
