Yup - 1994 is the peak. In addition to the above you got OJ murder, Tanya/Nancy, Clinton/Lewinsky and the movies were off the chain - Pulp Fiction, Forest Gump and Shawshank. 1994 for the Win! Totally agree about 1994 being peak 90s, but Monica Lewinsky didn't even start as a WH intern until mid 1995. Agreed 1994 I was 13 first year as a teen.

When I think of the 90s, I think of how hyper-commercialized it was. Everything had the ability to be turned into a toy or a game, TV was reaching its peak before internet streaming was even an idea, and malls became popular because people had the time and the resources to just spend an entire day shopping.
