2014年1月12日 · Been looking at a 94 Yz250 for a while, cant really seem to find anything about them having any common problems. does anyone know of any problems the 94 yz250 had? is it a good woods bike? Anybody know the stock specs for this bike? any help would be appreciated!

2010年4月12日 · My friend just acquired a 1994 YZ 250. We are currently rebuilding the engine because it had thrown a crank bearing. Cylinder is being honed, along with new piston, wrist pin, along with full gasket kit and oil seals. Other than the crank bearing the condition of the engine was surprisingly good. No abnormal wear or anything of the sort.

The Yamaha YZ250 is a two-stroke motocross race bike made by Yamaha. The model was launched in 1974, and has been regularly updated and is still in production with new releases every year. The original YZ250 of 1974 used an air-cooled 250cc two-stroke engine of 70 mm bore and a 64 mm stroke, which was improved semi-annually.

2011年5月5日 · I acquired a nearly unridden 94 YZ250...with a shot engine. Crank is destroyed, cylinder and head require refurbish and can't find a reasonably priced crank, if it's in stock at all. Wondering what my options are.

2013年1月22日 · Turn the gas off at the PETCOCK and hold the throttle wide open while you kick it with the old plug in there. Kick it over a dozen times or so. Install the new plug. Make sure the air filter is nice and clean. Turn the fuel back on and try to start it. If no luck, remove and clean the carb. The float height shouldn't change at all on its own.
