Customer: I have my 96 328i at a repair shop because the ignition would not turn. I purchased a new lock cylinder from the dealer and took it to the shop. They tried to turn the lock cylinder without installing it and said it will not turn.

Customer: 96 328i with 93 wire harness with 413 red label ecu ,car fired up ok but i need a tcm for the auto transmission what modle number tcm i need for that auto tran my orginal auto trans tcm can't plug up with that harness car stuck in 3rd gear have a very slow take off. thank you

Customer: 96 328i key won't turn but you can push start and drive car. Must unhook battery to shut off. Key can be inserted and removed. Mechanic's Assistant: Can you turn the steering wheel at all? And what about the key? Is it worn or damaged? Customer: yes you can drive the car. the key is not that bad for a 96 model.

Replaced gas cap, cleared code. popped up another PO446 code. pulled off the purge vent valve, it appeared to have water in it. emptied out the valve, varified that the solinoid works right, varified the voltage going to the solinoid, that was good. cleared the code again, about 25 miles later, another PO446 code.
