9gag users aren't photoshopping the watermark out, it's probably staff. Also, an important tidbit, words like "reddit" will make your comment not visible to other users, attempting to prevent you from calling out reposts.

Dec 15, 2019 · Back in the time (around a year ago), when i was still using 9gag, my favorite section was "dark humor". I was (and kinda still am) your typical edgy teenager, so it was like made for me, but over the time i started to notice the decline of the section.

The 9GAG Administration is reacting to my creation and are observing the Hot / Trending page very carefully. They copy fewer submissions from reddit and give their copies realistic post times.

9gag is largely criticized by Redditors for being something of an inferior version of Reddit, and often gets flak for (1) the seemingly more immature userbase, and (2) stealing content from Reddit and reposting it with a 9gag watermark. The criticisms are sometimes true, sometimes not.

It has a similar layout to 9gag in that you can scroll down to browse a stream of images, but has much, much fewer reposts, better content (no advice animals/confession bears, newer memes) and a better community (less niceguys, less defeners, less euphoria, less horny kids, etc.)

I've noticed 9GAG turning into a cesspool of extreme bigoted views, straight up genocidal maniacs, paramount racism, and it just became a breeding ground for women hating, Muslim hating, lgbtq hating incels that are angry at everything and pro-violence.

Jan 31, 2022 · 9gag driftet nicht nur im /de Bereich in diese Gefilde ab. Die Memes sind häufig echt lustig, aber die Kommentare spart man sich da lieber. Um 2011 mit dem legendären ridiculously photogenic runner und rage comics war das Umfeld noch unbeschwerter. Heute muss jeder kleine Witz für irgendwelche Agendas missbraucht werden.
