100gr 9mm PCC Load Questions/Issues - Brian Enos's Forums
2025年3月6日 · The logic that more gas works the comp better just didn't hold up for a PCC. I compared bullet weights from 100gr to 147gr and found I preferred 115. I wasn't comfortable trying to pack enough sport pistol into a case to make a 95gr hit 130PF, so I didn't test that combo, but a 95gr at 130pf with HS-6 was far less pleasant than a 115gr at 130 ...

2017年4月16日 · My favorite PCC load is 147 gr X-treme RN plated bullets over 3.0 gr VV N-320 powder loaded to 1.085" OAL. The PF = 132. Very soft shooting and accurate to 50 yards (furthest tested). A bit on the quiet side. I had to install a cheap Miculek style compensator to drive enough noise back to the timer to eliminate reshoots.

CMC 9mm trigger, Taccom 16" ULW barrel, Taccom handguard, taccom shortstroke bolt, and Taccom PCC recoil system. Buttstock of your choice (I prefer MFT Minimilist), pistol grip of your choice, and optic of your choice.

2016年12月11日 · A friend is using 147gr xtremes with Nobel-Vectan GM3 at 3.2 gr and getting about 148pf/1010fps. He is using his pistol loads and will probably start loading down for PCC after he gets some time on the PCC. BTW - I found that all of my pistol loads yielded about 20 power factor points higher out of the PCC. Winchester white box was 160 pf!

2018年8月27日 · Max (Lucas Oil PCC winner... see thread on main page) is using prototypes of these. APA is known for their brakes for larger calibers for precision shooting (6.5 creedmoor, .338 Lapua, etc.). Between the reputation they already have with larger calibers + Max using them, I'm pretty interested in checking them out when they come out.
AR15 (5.56mm) vs. AR9 / PCC (9mm) For Home Defense - Glock Talk
2017年12月30日 · Wouldn’t use a 9mm suppressor when shooting supersonic Blackout, but an emergency it would be fine for limited rounds. View attachment 374082 I personally don’t understand 9mm PCC for home defense. If I’m going for a pseudo-long gun, I’d like more oomph than that. 357 Sig or 10mm, okay. But I don’t get the home defense 9mm PCC attraction.

2025年1月1日 · From a let's do one for under $400 with a dedicated 9mm QC lower, to factory (FM-9s) and ruger PCC and 9m charger. IMO, again just my opinion. While heavier than all the rest the ruger 9mm pcc takedown and 9mm charger are the best bang for the buck. Then again i didn't pay more than $400 OTD for the charger and close to it for the pcc.

2017年10月12日 · It shoots factory 9mm just fine, but my Steel Challenge load is a Montana Gold 95gr JHP, 4.8grs of N330 (because I have several pounds I got off a prize table somewhere) at 1,000fps. Some people complain about the fat handguard and try to make it lighter, but I shot Smoke & Hope in 7 seconds and change at the Challenge this year using the stock ...

2016年10月5日 · My pistol load works great in my PCC. I'm loading 124gr Berry's RN on 3.2gr of Titegroup. I'm averaging 136pf with my G34, but haven't checked it with a 16" PCC. Recoil is light and I was able to tamp it down, slightly, with an AR10 spring and buffer. I'm hearing that the 147s are actually shooting well in the 16 inchers.

2016年8月22日 · I would stick to book loads for 115s/124s using powders suitable for 9mm. preferably faster type powders such as 231 or Titegroup. A Production load that runs 132-135 pf in your handgun should run about 145-150+ in the carbine.
