(U.S. Air Force photo) The A-7D is a single-seat, tactical close air support aircraft derived from the U.S. Navy's A-7. The first A-7D made its initial flight in April 1968, and deliveries of production models began in December 1968.

The LTV A-7 Corsair II is an American carrier-capable subsonic light attack aircraft designed and manufactured by Ling-Temco-Vought (LTV). The A-7 was developed during the early 1960s as replacement for the Douglas A-4 Skyhawk.

2024年7月17日 · The Ohio Air National Guard operated three A-7D squadrons: Received A-7D in 1979 and A-7K in 1980. Converted to F-16C/Ds in April 1992. Received A-7D in 1978 and A-7K in 1982. Converted to F-16C/Ds in May 1993. Received A-7D in 1974 and A-7K in 1983. Re-designated as 166th Air Refueling Squadron and equipped with KC-135Rs on January 16, 1993.

2014年10月5日 · Top speed for the A-7D was 698 mph and the normal cruising speed was 507 mph. Deliveries of the A-7D began during September of 1969. The A-7D saw its first combat use with the 354th Tactical Fighter Wing based at Korat Royal Thai Air Base, Thailand. The A-7Ds flew strikes against targets in Laos, Cambodia and North Vietnam.
