There will be first, second, and third place winners in each category, as well as a grand prize winner who will be awarded an iPad mini and invited to read his/her essay at the American Council of the Blind's National Conference and Convention in July 2023. Teachers of first-place winners also receive prizes.

The American Council of the Blind (ACB) and the Described and Captioned Media Program (DCMP) are proud to announce the winners of the 2023 BADIE awards.

Timeline and Prizes: Winners will be chosen from the essays submitted and published between January 1 and June 30, 2025. There will be first, second, and third place winners in each category, as well as a grand prize winner who will be awarded an iPad mini and invited to record an award presentation for the Audio Description Awards Gala.

2017年12月1日 · Contest winners in each category will be chosen by January of 2018 and the grand prize winner will receive an iPad Mini! Each first place student winner will receive a $100 iTunes gift card. Each second place winner will receive a $50 iTunes gift card. Each third place winner will receive a $25 iTunes gift card.
