Not just for undergrads, our upper division Applied Cybersecurity Certificate program is for anyone (age 18 to 60+) with 2 years of college credits who wants the hands-on experience and certifications needed to launch a high-paying cybersecurity career.

Bring in 70 credits from any accredited community college or 4-year college and earn a Cybersecurity Bachelor’s Degree after completing 50 credits at SANS.edu. No prior technical experience is required. Earn a bachelor's cybersecurity degree that prepares you to win a high-paying cybersecurity job.

ACS 3401 is a technically-oriented survey course in which you'll learn the most effective steps to prevent cyber attacks and detect adversaries. In classes and hands-on labs, you'll learn to develop effective security metrics that provide a focused playbook that IT can implement, auditors can validate, and executives can understand.

You should know that currently the base cost of the program is $17,875. This includes four SANS certs: GFACT, GSEC, GCIH, and one elective. The course is built to take place over a year, giving you 3 months per cert, but this can be shortened or lengthened depending on how hard you work and how much time between certs that you want.

To earn a SANS.edu bachelor’s degree, you’ll need to complete 70 credit hours at a community college and/or 4-year institution, plus 50 credit hours at SANS.edu. Earn 70 credits from any accredited insitution(s), which include 31 credits that meet the Maryland General Education Requirements (below).

Undergraduate Certificate in Applied Cyber Security (ACS) This cyber security certificate program is for anyone (age 18 to 60+) with at least 48 college credits who wants to join the cyber workforce.
