Southwire's ACSR bare conductor meets or exceeds the following ASTM specifications: • B230 Aluminum 1350-H19 Wire for Electrical Purposes. • B232 Concentric-Lay-Stranded Aluminum Conductors, Coated-Steel Reinforced (ACSR).
ACSR conductor is available in a range of steel strengths varying from 6% up to 40%. The higher strength ACSR conductors are used for river crossings, overhead earth wires, and installations involving extra long spans.
