Jul 4, 2016 · I can't test a diy 200-300MHz amplifier, and if I add a MMIC I'll have to reduce the output power again so I do not overload the mixer - 200MHz TTL oscillator - square wave - 200MHz low pass or a narrow band pass filter, so I will not mix higher harmonics - a pad or buffer to get the signal to ~7dBm for the mixer LO drive - high pass / low-pass ...

Apr 10, 2018 · I have been working with the AD8302 for a while now and have created a handy equations sheet to help me remember what I did to work out how the various calculations are derived. This sheet shows how return loss, reflection coefficient, SWR, complex load impedance and mismatch loss are calculated using data from the AD8302.

Jan 26, 2014 · in that thread I saw the log amp which are new for me, I red about them and I found them interesting (even the AD8302 use that logic for the gain and phase measurement) did you try them, if so do they give good result. also do you think that the DC offset will affect the impedance since I am going to feed the DUT with sine wave from 0 - 5V so a ...

Jun 10, 2023 · I see no plausible reason for, and have found no examples in testing of, these other delays to phases varying, so they can be ignored as constant when using phase diferences to know which half of angular positions the rotor is in. P.S. the AD8302, very good value on those adapter boards, cheaper than the chip itself. Will give that a go if ...

Nov 30, 2017 · 1) Ensure both inputs are square waves, or at least something that can drive logic. 2) Divide both signals by two using a 74xx74, this will give two waveforms with a 50:50 mark space ratio but a phase difference between them 3) Feed one divided signal to the set input of a third FF and the second signal to the reset input 4) The phase difference is the pulse width on …

Sep 17, 2011 · Be for you jump in at the deep end, do some Googling first. Due to the way the AD8302 calculates phase, there is inaccuracy around the 0/180deg points, and in a simple setup, it isn't possible to distinguish the sign of the phase difference. So (for example) +30deg is the same as -30deg (or 330deg if you prefer).

Aug 27, 2018 · I suspect the 1n4148 is used cause it's THE most common small signal diode. You could probably use any diode, but I seem to recall germanium diodes being used in older field strength meters.
