P2Y12 - Wikipedia
P2Y 12 is a chemoreceptor for adenosine diphosphate (ADP) [5] [6] that belongs to the G i class of a group of G protein-coupled (GPCR) purinergic receptors. [7] This P2Y receptor family has several receptor subtypes with different pharmacological selectivity, which overlaps in some cases, for various adenosine and uridine nucleotides .
The Signaling Pathway of the ADP Receptor P2Y
ADP binds to and activates the ADP receptor P2Y 12 leading to the inhibition of adenylate cyclases, a decrease in cAMP, PI3 kinase activation, and an increase in AKT phosphorylation. This signaling pathway eventually leads to platelet activation and aggregation.
P2Y receptor - Wikipedia
P2Y receptors are a family of purinergic G protein-coupled receptors, stimulated by nucleotides such as adenosine triphosphate, adenosine diphosphate, uridine triphosphate, uridine diphosphate and UDP-glucose.To date, 8 P2Y receptors have been cloned in humans: P2Y 1, P2Y 2, P2Y 4, P2Y 6, P2Y 11, P2Y 12, P2Y 13 and P2Y 14.
P2Y1 and P2Y12 receptors for ADP desensitize by distinct kinase ...
2005年5月1日 · On the basis of pharmacologic and genetic studies, it is now accepted that P2Y 1 is required for platelet activation by ADP, whereas P2Y 12 is important in synergizing with P2Y 1 or other G q-coupled receptors to induce platelet activation by ADP and other agonists playing a major role in stabilizing platelet thrombi in vivo.
The platelet P2Y - American Society of Hematology
2011年2月17日 · Defects of P2Y 12 should be suspected when ADP, even at high concentrations (≥ 10μM), is unable to induce full, irreversible platelet aggregation. Tests that evaluate the degree of inhibition of adenylyl cyclase by ADP should be used to confirm the diagnosis.

2023年4月4日 · P2Y 12 is a G-protein-coupled receptor that is activated upon ADP binding. Considering its well-established role in platelet activation, blocking P2Y 12 has been used as a therapeutic strategy for antiplatelet aggregation in cardiovascular disease patients.
Adenosine diphosphate receptor inhibitor - Wikipedia
Adenosine diphosphate (ADP) receptor inhibitors are a drug class of antiplatelet agents, used in the treatment of acute coronary syndrome (ACS) or in preventive treatment for patients who are in risk of thromboembolism, myocardial infarction or a stroke.

The Molecular Mechanism of P2Y 1 Receptor Activation - Wiley …
Human purinergic G protein-coupled receptor P2Y 1 (P2Y 1 R) is activated by adenosine 5′-diphosphate (ADP) to induce platelet activation and thereby serves as an important antithrombotic drug target.
