2017年12月15日 · As a way to apply this definition, AHIMA developed the Information Governance Adoption Model (IGAM) to provide a structured approach for organizations to assess their current state of IG, prioritize IG initiatives, develop an IG strategic plan, measure successes, and determine next steps.

Privacy and Security IGAMTM is built using leading practices in IG and the AHIMA-developed organizational IG competencies, and incorporates more than 85 maturity markers (or indicators of maturity in IG practices). These markers enable identification of maturity level, based on a five-level model across all 10 competencies.

Uses a 5-Level, 5-point scoring system based on maturity markers across 10 IG Organizational Competencies (IGOC). Yields maturity scores in the aggregate and by competency. Multiple views of maturity levels based on organizational needs. Industry peer group benchmarking from granular to aggregate levels.
