Accuracy International AIAW vs. Sako TRG-22 - Sniper's Hide
Mar 2, 2013 · The AIAW was able to produce scores beating many of the purpose built bench rest rifles on the line. I certainly didn't feel at a disadvantage using it. Likewise, I've shot my TRG against very fine custom rifles and the TRG had no problems keeping up, or exceeding, their performance. The TRG and AIAW are both no-joke high performance machines.
Accuracy International AIAW vs. Sako TRG-22 - Sniper's Hide
Jan 30, 2018 · Just got my left hand .308 AIAW having placed a deposit back in October 2012. I plan to shoot it in a few days. Here are my first impressions: The Good: 1) Working the bolt tells me that I'm in a different league. It just feels like quality battle implement. Nothing on the rifle appears fragile. 2) The fit and finish of the plastic skins is ...
AIAW Magazine Issues | Sniper's Hide Forum
Apr 15, 2011 · Re: AIAW Magazine Issues I have, and usually it is a loading issue, but could very well be a spring issue. Usually if you not careful, because the magazine is a double stack, you can have a round in the magazine that is not seating properly which causes them to "stick"
AIAW - Price check on aisle 4 | Sniper's Hide Forum
Aug 13, 2008 · Re: AIAW - Price check on aisle 4 To me that sounds outrageous. You can build a rifle with a badger action and have Gap do the work for half that price, and it would be just as accurate if not more accurate. I will have around 2800 bucks in mine when it is done and i know it will shoot as good as anything can.

AIAW vs Sako trg 22 vs blaser lrs2 shoot out today
Apr 20, 2012 · The sako was the best all a round rifle and My beloved aiaw was the most rugged, but came up short on the shot groupings im sad to say. We used USO bubble levels on all the rifles. The AW had a 5-25x56 S&B, the blaser had a nightforce nxs 5.5-22 npr2, and the sako had a falcon 4-14x. it was really interesting seeing that all 3 rifles liked the ...

Apr 22, 2009 · The pic rail on AIAW are screwed and epoxy glued on to the action. The scope mount are made for the 35 mm tube. Terminology: AIAW rifles don't have a 1.5 or a 2.0 number attached. They are either fixed stock vs. folding stock with/without adjustable cheek piece. The 1.5 or 2.0 that you commonly see are referred to the AICS chassis.
308. AIAW Special Edition - Sniper's Hide
Jun 7, 2022 · The AIAW with a NightForce NXS 8-32X56 scope with ZS, HST will consistently shoot well under 0.5" 5 shot 100 yard groups using 168FGMM. Know that's my limit and I won't be able to do any better with a higher priced rig.

Accuracy International AIAW vs. Sako TRG-22 - Sniper's Hide
Jan 28, 2018 · Since I wrote this thread I still own both rifles. However I got tired of the weight of the AIAW and switched to the TRG with a carbon fiber barrel to .260 caliber. The TRG was always lighter than the AI, but the new barrel took about 2lbs. off the rifle and made it more manageable to carry in the field vs. the AI.
