2021年2月14日 · Hello everyone, I'm looking to get some return pump suggestions here. I have a 10G AIO, and the return section is roughly 3.5"x4", so really not too much room to work with, but overall it's not a super tiny space. I'm really looking for something on the quiet side because the stock return pump is pretty unacceptable.

2024年2月28日 · I felt that the pump on my Innovative Marine AIO 10g was too strong. My corals were not opening up enough. I installed a stainless steel ball valve between the pump and the elbow for the return. I think I cut out about 1.5"s of tubing to fit the ball valve in. I will put the link to the valve below. This helped tremendously!!

2020年12月20日 · I've wrapped this in filter sponge material, but the noise persists. Taking the pump outside of the back chamber (and putting in a larger volume of water for eg), the pump sounds quiet. So this doesn't seem like an issue with the pump itself. I took it to the fish store I bought it from and they said the pump is working normally.

2019年12月16日 · You have a few options since it's an AIO and doesn't need to be 100% water-tight. The sleekest looking would be to toss a silicone O-Ring on the DT side of the NPT connector and use a plastic nut on the backside. From the NPT connector inside the back chamber, use a 1/2" threaded male 90 to hose barb and use flexible tubing to your return pump.

2022年10月5日 · The DIY AIO is the path I'm on for this project to learn tank hardware options and satisfy an aquarium need at the moment. First tank will be a re-purposed 10 gal to learn - so I think 3/4" bulk would be too much for my 156 gallon flow pump.

Should the water level be below the baffles when the pump is running and when it is not running? Should I always try to keep the water level below the baffles in the pump chamber?
