2011年12月5日 · This vintage microphone is one of the three all time great dynamic cardioid kick drum mics. You've probably seen pictures of this mic in use by most of the classic English hard rock and "traditional" metal bands of the '60s, '70s, and '80s and many others as well.

The D12, and its successor the D12E, are arguably the best-known early dynamics dedicated to kick drum and other bass instruments. The D12 is the nominal ancestor of AKG’s popular D112. The moving-coil cartridge is coupled to a “bass chamber,” a cannister below the cartridge that was connected acoustically via a small tube.
