2005年4月23日 · Ive been using a pair of AKG -K240 55 ohms,for play back and for final mix downfrom working with the set of cans---I adjusted and and learned how to use the set-----so with that said,I decided to purchase a second set to try to make it easier to mix "at times".

2003年8月26日 · I LOVE AKG mics....except the entire "C" line although I did hear some tracks that were recorded with a C4000...acoustic instruments mostly...I remember the mandolin sat nicely in the mix because of its particular natural curve(the mic)...Anyway, it seems the AKG company decided awhile back to build a line of cheap prosumer grade mics aimed specifically …

No. Gate it in the mix if needed. If there's a really good take and the settings on the gate are slightly off a bit, or the dynamics of the track are more than the gate can handle and it clamps off the end of a vocal phrase, what then?

2005年8月3日 · While no headphones will ever provide adequate monitoring for material destined for loudspeaker playback, I can tell you that these are a great pair of cans. They are comfortable, well built, and extremely well sealed. AKG K240 and Sony MDR7506 are nice and popular choices as well.

2017年3月10日 · At least I wouldn't trust the cans I have - AKG K240 Studio models. That's not to say that professional reference grade HP's aren't out there, but they aren't cheap, some retail up around $1000, so you could spend more on a pair of those than on a decent set of powered nearfields. Your room is important.

2009年1月25日 · If the cue mix isn't too loud, I'll loan the AKGs (k240) to the singer, and often use them for overdubs (again, if the headphone mix isn't blasting out). The frequency response of the EIs isn't great, but it's enough for the musician cutting the track. My AKGs aren't isolation, but for monitoring, do much better than the others, imo.
