2013年11月27日 · while any linux distro would be somewhat faster, the problem is the laptop itself. the E-300 is VERY slow. it was meant to be a cheap, low power cpu for netbooks, like 10 and 11 inch machines. they were never meant to do anything other than check email or facebook. if you want to do linux, id suggest ubuntu, or one of its variants (mint is my favorite). but they wont do much to cover up that ...

2019年10月8日 · From the title I know this sounds crazy, I use a few old laptops mostly running MX-Linux. I recently acquired a Lenovo G585 with a AMD e-300. This thing is slow as molasses and I am honestly not attracted to it in any way. So I'm thinking of trying to slightly overclock to perhaps improve it's performance a little.
