2022年7月28日 · restart the pc to bios, disable AMD fTPM and secure boot (if it's enabled by default), save and exit, go to bios again, re flash to the latest bios (with agesa 1.2.0.7), go to bios after finished updating, then load default or optimized settings, disable CSM, then save and exit. If you cant boot with CSM disabled, then just enable it.

2021年9月17日 · No. fTPM leverages a separate part of the CPU called the trusted execution environment. In Ryzen processors, it's the Platform Security Processor. Assuming you've turned on Secure Boot and fTPM enabled, you also need to make sure the storage device you want to install Windows 11 to was formatted as a GPT drive.

2022年1月25日 · Other users have reported no problems with installing updates with the fTPM disabled on Windows 11, there is however no guarantee this will stay this way. Even though my stutters are gone, this does not tackle the problem at its roots. I believe this needs to be adressed through software updates, by motherboard manufacturers and AMD.

2023年4月27日 · BitLocker uses values generated by fTPM to validate the computer it's on is the one it's supposed to be on. Pressing Y means fTPM will generate new values that BitLocker isn't expecting, so Bitlocker won't start decrypting the drive. You'll have to use a recovery key to tell BitLocker the new values are OK.

Toggling fTPM on/off in BIOS, re-seating the CPU, clear CMOS, re-flashing BIOS, fresh Windows installation. It just doesn't get detected in Windows. Now when booting im getting this notification all the time: "new CPU installed, fTPM/PSP NV corrupted or fTPM/PSP NV structure changed". I keep pressing N coz i actually didnt have any bitlocker or encryption, not that i knew.

2024年2月6日 · The ftpm menu in the asus motherboard bios is in the advanced area, but its normal for bios in laptops to miss features that would be in full size motherboards. I can't find anything apart from someone else not finding it either. I don't think you will be able to get the laptop to run off anything other than igpu in windows.

So realistically you need to find another cause for it. the ftpm is in the CPU. It would be on whether windows accesses it or not. So changing a windows setting might not be ...
