Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway No. 1010 is a 2-6-2 type steam locomotive built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works in 1901 for Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway. It started out as a Vauclain compound locomotive before it was rebuilt into a conventional locomotive in the 1910s.

Good looking Prairie style loco built by Burnham, Wms & Co (Baldwin) in 1901. Specs - class 1000, 79" drivers, 200 psi boiler pressure, 17x28" cylinders (2), engine weight of 209,220 lb, tractive effort of 25,446 lb. All in this large class were eventually converted to simple expansion layout. unknown photographer.

Santa Fe No. 1010 is an F7 class 2-6-2 "Prairie" type steam locomotive built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works in 1901 for the Atchison, Topeka & Santa Fe Railway (AT&SF). The locomotive was used in passenger service on the AT&SF. It was used in the record breaking 1905 Scott Special on the segment between Needles, California and Seligman, Arizona.

Santa Fe 2-6-2 #1010 is the only surviving locomotive that participated in "Death Valley" Scotty's record-breaking run across the Santa Fe system in 1905, and was later used in Ronald Reagan's "Death Valley Days" recreation of the Scott Special.
