Aug 7, 2020 · The above is correct. The ST is pretty dumb compared to ST-A which has iVAPS. This stands for intelligent AVAPS and only ResMed will have this mode. Other machines that run AVAPS are in the ventilator class such as the ResMed Stellar and Astral. Philips has some AVAPS mode units, but the ones that come to mind are ventilators as well.

Jan 21, 2023 · Hi all, I've recently switched from Trilogy 100 to EVO, using AVAPS. All settings exactly the same. Have been told to expect it will feel different, the motor is different, EVO is more sophisticated, accurate. That's fine. It doesn't feel all that different, maybe more powerful.

DreamStation BiPAP AVAPS 30 (1130X110, 1130X200) So mine looks to be a minor variation on the latter, 1130X110, but includes the 'AAM' (Auto Airway Management) functionality explicitly mentioned for the former. I'm not sure where/how to upload the SD zip, if that'd be helpful.

Mar 23, 2017 · The AVAPS provides a specific purpose beyond simple BiPAP S or BiPAP auto so it would help to know the settings you're using, in terms of mode, EPAP, IPAP BPM, target volume etc. With a PS of 9.0 cm the machine is practically doing all the work of inhalation for you.

Aug 8, 2020 · AHI went down from previous 2 nights. As Sleeprider suggested, maybe it's not much worse than my AVAPS. Ignore the Breathing Not Detected -- I had machine running before I used it to get out a cologne smell from the DME office. To clarify, I have no intention of switching to ST. This is just a loaner while I wait for my AVAPS to be replaced.
