2024年7月14日 · I have an abandoned food stall in the market. This probably is because I moved the only family working the Forager Hut to work on the farm. They were working a stall. So now there's an abandoned food stall, but it has food in it. Will anyone ever take that over, or should I just demolish it? Thanks.

For me, it always felt abandoned, even if I just built it. The bread cart capped at 5 bread without anyone using it, so whenever I destroyed it, they'd interact with the bread on the ground but never with the cart. Same issue with the firewood cart, except there it would actually fill the whole cart and never stop working, unlike the bread one

You can force them by using the advanced page and drawing a work area around the pile of goods left when the stall is demolished. Just remember to reset the work area when they're done collecting the goods.

2025年1月11日 · In the major city, the stalls remain abandoned, even though i have 6 families in granary and 6 in storage. In smaller cities, granary workers took over food stalls but the other stalls remain abandoned.

2024年4月30日 · Once your market place is limited to the number of stalls you want make sure there is a granary or storehouse worker who doesn't have a stall. In this case let's say it's a forager with a stall you want a granary worker to take over, unassign the forager from his job and the granary worker will take over shortly after.

2024年4月27日 · With switching families around stalls get abandoned and supply to houses appears to stop. We noticed that some houses were not supplied with food and/or fuel. Turns out, the stalls they were getting their supply from were empty as the family that was running the stall was reassigned.

2024年5月1日 · People rejoined as far as I know in my first run. But in my second run they didn't rejoin the stalls. They were just left abandoned, even when I only paused their building. In my case I only paused the hunter's building and they abandoned a food stall. When I unpaused they never came back to that same stall packed with meat.
