Abergele (Welsh: [ˌabɛrˈɡɛlɛ]; pronunciation ⓘ) is a market town and community, situated on the north coast of Wales between the holiday resorts of Colwyn Bay and Rhyl, in Conwy County Borough. It lies within the historic county boundaries of Denbighshire. Its northern suburb of Pensarn lies on the Irish Sea coast.

5 天之前 · Abergele is located in a valley by the River Gele in North Wales, in the county of Denbighshire, approximately 210 miles north-west of London and 10 miles east of Colwyn Bay. The town has a population of around 10,200. It is within the county borough of Conwy which covers an area of approximately 1,130 sq kms.

Abergele has a sandy beach, a promenade and a pier. Further to the east in Pensarn, the beach is mainly of shingle and is popular with windsurfers and kayakers. Sometimes the timber outline of a wrecked C19th boat can be seen in the bay.
