2022年12月30日 · With the goal that all children have the same opportunity to discover the magic of books, Access Books provides books for schools in minority communities and where at least 90% of students live below the poverty level.

Ninety percent of our budget is dedicated to BOOKS. We have no full-time employees and rely on volunteers. We have lots of library service opportunities on deck for 2025!

Sydney Kysar started volunteering with Access Books in 2013 and became the first artist-in-residence. With a passion for archives and storytelling, Sydney worked in audio and video restoration up until getting her degree in Animation from Marist College in 2021.
