You can PM and I can send the specs and pdf manual Gerry sent me. It’s a very good amp. As good as it gets for an acoustic amp. Gerry is a top notch guy and can tell you more than I can about it.

2011年4月1日 · The Sedona 55 is the acoustic/electric amp (very expensive) I really like my Sedona Lite (not as expensive or as heavy as the Sedona 55) for that very reason. It's their dedicated acoustic amp. Herb is right though: Tube amps are more expensive, tubes are more expensive, and they in fact, do begin to wear out from the minute you install them.

I’ve played Marshall AS100D, Fishman (personally have never seen the fascination with this one especially) and several of the upper tier amps. I truly think it’s THE BEST Acoustic amp out there. Tone, function, features…you name it. My all time fave amp under 1500.

2017年11月15日 · Shades, if you are looking for simple combo amp with effects that will work well at home, the Fender you mention is a good option. You might just consider getting an acoustic amp with reverb and add the delay via a pedal, if absolutely necessary. Trying to get all the effects onbaord is convenient, but limits your choices.

2013年1月4日 · I think small acoustic amps, more robust acoustic amps, high end acoustic amps, the SA220/Bose and full PA systems have their uses, and their strong points. A person needs to assess his/her personal needs and be equipped to cover the venue they are going to play in.

2010年7月7日 · To me, classic post bop jazz guitar tone, ala Wes, Grant Green, Kenny Burrell, etc, is about a built-in humbucker into a tube amp. A lot of people like the sound of an acoustic archtop with a floating pickup - it's not a sound I personally like - but an acoustic amp certainly makes sense for that.

2020年1月10日 · Really, an acoustic amp with a couple inputs, including XLR and a mic level switch, and tone-shaping for both inputs essentially IS a little single-speaker PA system. Not substantively different from a small powered speaker that has a couple inputs, except for (perhaps) a bit more tone control and effects.

2025年1月8日 · Years ago I had a Schertler David, great acoustic amp, but I found I wanted something that present the lower frequencies of the guitar a little better. There’s a lot of great options out there. The only reason I still have my SoloAmp other than its incredible tone, is the portability and weight with it’s rolling case.

2024年11月25日 · I will point out that the above points, are in contradiction to how acoustic amps are typically designed and used. Acoustic amps are usually designed first and foremost to sit on the floor or a tilt-back amp stand, placed BEHIND the player, to provide on-stage sound in lieu of putting the acoustic guitar into the monitors.

2012年3月24日 · For your purpose of jamming in small venues you will very likely want an acoustic amp. They are portable and convenient. They have built in preamps and effects. Many acoustic amps include a 2nd channel for a microphone as well. Some can be mounted on speaker stands. Most will have a DI out so you can plug into larger systems if you have to.
