Æsir (Old Norse; singular: áss) or ēse (Old English; singular: ōs) are gods in Germanic paganism.

Although the Vanir form another tribe containing gods, “Æsir” is often used in Old Nordic literature to represent the two groups. The principal members of the pantheon are Odin, Thor, and Loki.
