The new local entity, called Afya Plus, will partner with the government of Tanzania, local civil society, and the private sector to improve the quality and accessibility of Tanzania’s health care system.

AFYA PLUS is a not-for-profit organization operating its core development agenda of prevention and control of diseases through promotion of water sanitation and hygiene (WASH), Nutrition and empowerment of girls and young women.

Our focus is on promoting clean water, good hygiene, proper nutrition and strong communities. We empower adolescent girls and young women by engaging with relevant stakeholders.
