On September 25, 2024, the new long-distance drone „DB UAS” was unveiled at the Deutsche Bahn stand at Innotrans Berlin. DB will be testing the aircraft along its routes from 2025. In future, the UAS will provide aerial support for various tasks, including surveying, vegetation checks and infrastructure monitoring.
