2021年10月10日 · In all, I have found vst3shell to work very well for most plugins I want to run in the MPC environment. Of course, this is not a cure for the problem of Akai's fundamental misunderstanding of the Windows marketplace where only a re-write of the MPC software to natively use vst3 files will be the real solution.

2019年7月10日 · On top of the codes appearing, the problem you're having is popping up with both iLok MPC 2.0 AND the older MPC 1.9 software and the freebie Essentials. Folks are plugging in their Renaissance's and being told the software is locked, and those old versions aren't even iLok'd.

2022年1月19日 · If you need to go back to a previous MPC software version due to OS incompatibility or bugs, the following are still hosted on Akai's own site, previously published on the MPC Software product page as the 'MPC 2 Trial'. Without a serial number and iLok activation code these are just trial versions and will emit noise every few seconds.

2021年2月2日 · The Akai software seems to have machine-specific conditions baked in. Step sequencer doesnt work right, clip editor also doesn't really work. The Hype synth is missing presets and oscillator sounds (we need an ssh enabled force to pilfer those from!)

2019年2月11日 · Just to confirm, I bought mine used (perfect condition, even had the screen protector still on), saving myself $450 in the process, and Akai generously gave me downloads to the full suite of MPC Live software, firmware and content when I created a new account and registered the product.

2022年3月6日 · MPC Software definitely doesn't support VST3 there's no way you can have vst3 working (unless via a wrapper, but YMMV), so do make sure you've installed the actual VST (or VST2) version. 2011年2月16日 · As an ex MPC user, I was pretty active on these forums a couple of years ago (I had a 2500). When the company I work for decided they were going to make a new drum machine I was pretty excited. Being a big MPC user I made sure that certain features and workflows got put in the software, and I love the results. So much so that I sold my MPC!
