2020年5月21日 · Altec did some wanky things with the 9845. By 1976 or so they were loading them with 416-8B woofers in place of the 416-16A, yet the catalogs still state 16 ohm system impedance. The 9845 also uses the N500G network which is a high power network designed for 515's and 288's.

2016年3月22日 · 9845 is essentially an Iconic 2-way in an industrial finished cabinet with an aspect ratio that makes it suitable for soffit mounting, much like your 9844's but about 30% larger, and with a little better bass extension. It bests the SP-2 as much as the SP-2 bests the SP-3.

2005年4月4日 · I believe the 9845 has a 416 woofer and should have had a 802 driver vice the 806 as the 500hz crossover would work best with. The cabinet is undersized for the 416 woofer, but would result in only a slight loss of bottom octave response. Repair of the 806 driver is best done by Bill H. at Great Plains audio.
