2003年3月13日 · It took a while to get it to fit, but I managed to squeeze a great-sounding, compact DAC into an Altoids tin. I actually had to trim the tin a little bit to get it to fit. There wasn't room for an amp circuit in the tin, so I have it running through my cmoy to my headphones.

Altoids Amp: You may have seen the DIY altoids amp somewhere else, but this one is easier than the other plans I have seen. This project can be completed in one sitting, depending on how long that sitting is and how precise you make everything.

2023年1月15日 · The Altoids tins can be drilled easily; you just need a drill, some drill bits, and patience. Pro-tips: center-punch your holes (a nail and hammer will suffice). Have a scrap of wood behind the case when you punch and drill. Harbor freight drill press personally. Works great. Drill through a piece of cloth for a perfect edge.
