2023年8月12日 · The AMR PAT is relatively easily, it's more or less just make sure you can perform the basic job functions than actually testing physical agility. There is an instructional video on YouTube so nothing will be a surprise. Your big tips are body mechanics and common sense.

2022年12月3日 · The PAT for AMR is super easy. The "hardest" part for me at least was putting on the regulator to the O2 tank and making sure it was straight. You have 13 minutes to complete the PAT, which I think more than plenty of time to finish it. Plus the instructors are going to help guide you and tell you what to do along the way.

This PAT is used as a standardized screening tool. It assesses various physical abilities required to perform the paramedic and emergency medical technician (EMT) job duties.

This rating will be used in providing you with feedback and may be used in making a decision as to whether there is a risk to your health or potential of injury. The general physical or lifting guidelines are: Feet should be flat with ALL lifts. Head should be up with all lifts.

Do watching youtube videos help? I'm about 5ft, 110 lb female and I feel like lifting the weighted gurney will be an issue for me.
