What is the Water/Wastewater Advisory Committee (WWAC) and how can the WWAC assist your community? The WWAC was implemented in 1992 and received national recognition as a unique model because of the cooperative efforts of the funding and regulatory agencies involved.

The Waste/Wastewater Advisory Committee (WWAC) is required to review all projects seeking funding from the Arkansas Department of Agriculture’s Natural Resources Division.

The Arkansas Department of Agriculture’s Natural Resources Division has funding available for water and wastewater projects from both state and federal programs. Each of these programs has its own requirements and limitations. Our purpose here is to provide an overview of what can be done without getting into specifics of each program.

WWAC partners include the Arkansas Economic Development Commission (AEDC), the Arkansas Natural Resources Commission (ANRC), the Arkansas Department of Environmental Quality (ADEQ), the Arkansas Department of Health (ADH), the U.S. Department of Agriculture – Rural Development (USDA-RD), and Communities Unlimited (CU).

The Water/Wastewater Advisory Committee (WWAC) was created in 1992 and is a partnership of four state agencies in support of water and wastewater projects. The WWAC aids with project development and recommends project financing to communities through its application process.

All entities requesting financial assistance for water and wastewater projects must complete the Water/Wastewater Advisory Committee (WWAC) pre-application form. The WWAC meets at the beginning of each month to review applications submitted by the 15th of the preceding month.

2024年8月5日 · Project Summary The City of Warren desires to extend sewer services along Pennington Road and convey the wastewater to an existing pump station at the intersection of Cowboy Road and Pennington Road. The sewer line extension will be 1,500 feet long.
