Attack on Titan Volume 0 (｢進撃の巨人」0巻 `Shingeki no Kyojin' 0-kan?) [1] is the draft story written by Hajime Isayama which would later evolve into Attack on Titan. This one-shot manga had a very different setting, but certain aspects of the Attack on Titan world were already in place.

There is a soldier, named Murakumo in this manga, who is also a titan and fights against other titans while in titan form (But fe's aware of feir own titanhood all along, and gains feir titanhood relatively recently by having a "heart filled with righteousness" which made it so fe took over a titan's consciousness when it ate fem).

2013年7月17日 · you can clearly tell that this was the initial rough draft of aot. it has since been altered. the art style and plot is developed in depth in the following volumes. i’m glad the first couple volumes don’t directly follow the plot in vol. 0, but it was also nice to see Isayama’s thought process and growth as an artist.
