The FoxRex 144 is a modern direction finding receiver, with a level of functionality and user support far beyond most other ARDF receivers. The receiver is a single-conversion Superhet with an IF of 10.7 MHz. It features crystal filter for good selectivity and a crystal-controlled PLL for frequency stability.

That manual is limited to just the operation. Of course, a real radio amateur would like to know what's inside, how it works, and how to realign or fix it if necessary.
