Pelt is a resource that can be acquired by harvesting corpses with most tools and dinosaurs. Pelt is used to craft fur gear, which provides excellent cold protection. The most efficient way to harvest Pelt is by using a tamed Direwolf with high melee damage, although Thylacoleo and Sabertooth will work nearly as well.
