2024年12月1日 · Manuel Mathieu (b. 1986; he/him) is a multi-disciplinary artist, working with painting, ceramics, film, and installation. Mathieu’s interests are partially informed by his upbringing in Haiti—just after the fall of the Duvalier dictatorship—and his experience emigrating to Canada at the age of 19.

Gallery TPW provides an opportunity for experimentation, bringing together a range of communities for critical and responsive engagement. I’m excited to support and facilitate the contributions of artists, curators and arts workers that recognize the power of the people in this particularly challenging, grounding, prescient time, and place.”

Titled Precarious Joys, the third edition of TBA is curated by Dominique Fontaine and Miguel A. López.
