ARTROM STEEL TUBES a fost înființată în 1982, ca societate de stat, sub numele de "Intreprinderea de tevi" Slatina, iar producția sa a început în 1988. A fost transformată în societate cu răspundere limitată în 1991 și redenumită ARTROM SA. În data de 20 noiembrie 1995, compania și-a listat acțiunile la Bursa de Valori București .

2025年1月16日 · GLGH Steel, LLC has agreed to purchase Artrom Steel Tubes S.A., the Romanian seamless steel tubes producer based in Slatina and Resita. GLGH Steel is a subsidiary of Great Lakes Global Holdings (GLGH), the investment company based in Chicago, Illinois.

2024年10月9日 · Artrom produces steel for the production of seamless pipes using the electric arc furnace process. The use of 100% renewable, carbon-free energy will reduce the average level of direct and indirect carbon emissions (Scope 1 and 2) by 42% for the entire production cycle, from steel smelting to finished pipe products.
