2006年7月31日 · The AT802 loops well from level flight. It is easy to keep the loop round and large. !!!Roll The large aspect ratio wing and barn door type ailerons yield slow graceful rolls. I needed to apply "down" elevator in the inverted portion of the roll to keep the nose from dropping. None of these factors is surprising considering the long wing span.

2007年2月12日 · Your question on flaps is an excellent one. The drop is done with flaps deployed 10-15% for increased lift and a slightly slower speed possible under control - good maneuverability at slower speeds. High speeds (100 knots +) really causes a pitch up in the AT802 when the load is released so we try to keep the drop speed under 100 knots.

2004年7月24日 · I can tell you that the AT802 full scale has similar flight characteristics to what you have described for the model. It is quite amazing to slow down and lower full flaps on the full size aircraft without the need for any elevator trim change. We go from 165 Kts in the circuit to 70 kts on final approach with full flaps without touching the trim!
