Your doctor will decide how much Atecor you should take each day, depending on your condition. The dose is normally taken once a day. • High blood pressure (hypertension): 50 mg to 100 mg daily. • Chest pain (angina): 50 mg to 100 mg daily or 50 mg twice daily. • Uneven heartbeats (arrythmias): maintenance dose of 50 mg to 100 mg daily.

Atecor-CT is used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension). It contains two different medicines called atenolol and chlortalidone. Atenolol belongs to a group of medicines called ‘beta-blockers’. It works by slowing down your heartbeat and making it beat with less force.
