2022年7月3日 · They're pretty much the best Atlas variant in the game, mostly because they can mount an anti-missile system (AMS). Use three or four of these in your lance and the overlapping fields of fire protects against missiles quite well (I posted some videos about this not so long ago).

2022年7月11日 · Atlas RS isn’t rare it’s the most seen Variant and shows up in the beginning of the game, as for best way to arm it that’s kind of subjective to your play style and what weapons you have available to use. There's a bit to unpack here. I recently asked for similar advice & was given many excellent suggestions.

I have already found one atlas on sale from the japanese, armed with 6 lasers and a tenth autocannon. The weapons are so-so, if only because the lasers are located on the limbs and can fly off in a hot battle. The statistics say that there is one more heroic Atlas, but it is not located no matter how much I look.

That said, it has its shortcomings mainly in the form of endurance problems due to how many enemies MechWarrior 5 throws at you! This simple, quick rebuild guide for the Atlas AS7-D adjusts it...

AS7-P: 4 medium lasers, Gauss rifle, LRM15 stream, Assault mech Battle axe, Assault mech Knuckles. Fairly straight forward design based off the 7D but 2 medium lasers are mounted on the left arm...

The Atlas D-DC has 1 Energy hardpoint in each arm (instead of 3), but it has 2 Ballistic and 3 Missile slots in the side torsos (instead of 1 of each). The key selling-point though is that the D-DC is the only Assault mech with ECM

2021年7月30日 · My AI lance seems to come along well with the Atlas K. Using Expanded Hardpoints and the Yet Another weapon packs, I equiped it with a C-Gauss, 4 C-ER-PPCs and a C-Laser AMS. They always do 1500-2000 points of damage per mission, they love sniping with PPCs and Gauss rifles.
