A weak Battery may set this fault code. Insure the Battery voltage is at least 11.5v. 2009-2014 Audi vehicles with no start issues, please see TSB 97-14-2 or TPI 2036764 for possible updated J271 relay.

2021年4月24日 · Hi Lorenzo, Great to hear that. I think it’s a bit of a ‘trade secret’ about these relays. I wonder why my Audi dealer didn’t suggest it for either my fuel pump issue or my ECU now. It’s so obvious when you start diagnosing it. It does help to have an OBD tool like OBD11.

2016年1月22日 · J317 is the Power Supply Relay, terminal 30, B+, which is the battery positive, hot at all times. In the Bentley wiring diagram page EWD-7, it shows the relay in the control module but I do not know where things go from there.

2017年2月24日 · Also You can try to swap the J317 "Terminal 30 Supply Relay" with another one. There should be some more with the same partnumber in the engine compartment fuse/relay box.

2022年11月3日 · The main relay J317 is not directly providing power to the injectors, the ECU itself is. If J317 was inop, you wouldn't have working glowplugs and other things, also a fault code present to that effect.

Also check the J317 "Power Supply Relay Terminal 30"". located in the fuse/relay panel under the hood, in the ECU weather-box near the base of the windshield, driver side.

2001年4月19日 · find the j317 location in your manual. it will tell you exactly which relay it is. most likely in the central electric panel with aux relay carrier. the pic you posted looks like the orange wire is burnt into. is it. bottom left corner.
