2005年6月11日 · The N112 is the on/off switch for the combi valve. During a cold start the ECU activates the N112 which in turn provides a vacuum signal to the combi valve. The combi valve opens up and lets air into the exhaust as supplied from the SAI pump.

2008年6月2日 · For a very long time I have had the infamous secondary air injection code thrown... I replaced the secondary air injection solenoid valve (n112) leading to the secondary air pump--it actually was not bad b/c the old one did read the correct resistance (25 to 35 ohms).

2008年10月19日 · The "Secondary Air Injection System Switching Valve A" is the N112 located underneath the intake manifold. Make sure it is plugged in properly. you can also check the resistance across the two terminals on the N112. You should see 27 to 30 Ohms resistance.

Secondary Air Injection (AIR) solenoid valve -N112- is supplied with power by way of the fuel pump relay. - Connect voltage tester V.A.G 1527 B as follows. Briefly operate starter. Use wiring diagram to check for open circuit in wiring from contact 1 of connector via fuse to fuel pump relay. Use wiring diagram to eliminate open circuit in wiring.

2006年3月1日 · A4 (B5 Platform) Discussion - Part Number for (N112) Secondary Air Injection Solenoid - I was replacing the vacum hose that connects from the combi valve to this, and I snapped the plastic nipple. Does anyone know the part number?

2006年8月6日 · The vacuum/pressure source from the intake manifold is completely isolated from the bleed path, internally by the N112. The bleed is there to dump vacuum from the Combi valve so it can close, once the (secondary air injection) warmup cycle is complete.

In parallel to this, the secondary air inlet valve -N112- is activated and allows vacuum to pass to the secondary air combination valve. In this way, the combination valve opens a passage for the secondary air system to supply air to the exhaust ports in the cylinder head.

2015年4月24日 · So I just got a dtc 17840 Air Injection (AIR) Solenoid Valve --N112 open. Checked the relay and fuse for the system all are good. Ohm reading is good at N112 valve with in spec.

2013年11月7日 · The N112 is below the metal plate that bolts to the front of the intake manifold (plastic trim on top of plate). It has a vacuum line which hooks into the manifold vacuum source, and another which goes to your combi valve to inject air into the exhaust on cold starts.
