Jan 27, 2023 · True. If a YouTuber is to be believed, they hold the world record time on the Nordschleife with the R18 '11, so I think there's something about it that's special that maybe hasn't been more recognized. I love the 787b as well though, its greatness is well recognized for sure

Sep 5, 2020 · The Audi is a lot easier to steer and balance, and I’d overall describe the car as being very “tight” in a way that front and rear feel very connected. Managing the hybrid system is also easier on the Audi, you don’t need to be as precise with where you’re boosting.

Sep 22, 2022 · I got both of them but I do love 919 more than the R18. 919 is easier to handle especially on cold tires. I spun the R18 so many times in T1 at the race start. I remember few months ago I got the pole in ESS Spa with R18 and spun in T1, what a shame. But I have to say R18 have better lap time in many circuit.

Sep 24, 2021 · Problem is that the 919 simply runs out of energy much quicker than the R18 at full push, meaning that while it has great one lap pace due to it's huge battery and deploy limits, it can't regenerate energy quickly enough to keep the battery topped up. That's why over several laps the Audis will 'blow past'.

Mar 6, 2023 · the audi r18 TDI '11 (not the r18 '16) is a great car. visibility when driving in the cockpit kinda sucks and its RHD—not necessarily a bad thing—but its definitely fast. my favorite right now before buying the 919 is the Toyota GR010 Hybrid '21..

Apr 12, 2023 · avoid using a VGT as they have terrible fuel efficiency for the most part. the porsche 919 and audi r18 are your go-to’s around here and if you’re good with them then the SF19 can do the race too. avoid using a turbo charger because it drains a lot more fuel from the car; more air to the engine = more fuel burnt, that’s how it increases the power so drastically.
