2019年12月2日 · Auspex is a super useful discipline for Heightened Senses alone — and additional Auspex ranks improve Heightened Senses. But there always seems to be a lot of attention given to Aura Perception, and honestly I've never really found it that useful. I feel like Aura Perception exists just to be the main Diablerie deterrent.

2022年6月29日 · Otherwise, you could just separate active and passive, passive bing 50% (rounded up) of total dots of wits+auspex, active being announced by the player that they are really looking for something. Another option is to have the player roll for the scene, and take that result for any contested auspex/obfuscate rolls.

2017年3月5日 · It seems Auspex is the go-to discipline for Elders who want to stay alive, even more-so than disciplines like Fortitude. It's pretty obvious how useful and powerful a discipline it is for offensive information gathering, but as a defense, I don't see it. What am I missing?

2023年5月11日 · No, it is not Resolve + Auspex + Auspex. Heightened Senses and Sense the Unseen are two separate abilities with different uses. Therefore, you don't get to double-dip into the Auspex pool to use both powers for the same action when the two abilities do two different things. Heightened Senses allows one to use the senses in the mundane world.
