Orix has acquired a 30% interest in Avolon from Bohai Capital for $2.2bn through its Irish aircraft leasing subsidiary Orix Aviation Systems. The acquisition will increase Orix’s aircraft leasing business, while expanding its presence in the global aircraft leasing market.
