I'm wondering though if this is all a good idea before I decide what block I'm going to end up with. My horse power goals are 330 and it will be built for forced induction of course, as the cams point out.

If it says b16a2 with a green vin stamp right near that, it's a USDM b16a2 from a 99-00 Civic Si. b16a2 is ONLY in the USDM market (and Canada).

The GSR head flows slightly less, but has quench pads that help avoid detonation. Also the GSR head has smaller combustion chambers which give you slightly more compression.

2008年9月29日 · yes, you can use the b16a head with the b18c5 block and it will bolt right up. as far as compression ratio... there are many compression ratio calculators online, search and you will find. the ecu you have for your b16 will surely run the new combination of head and block, however to see the maximum potential, getting the car tuned is the best bet.
