The F-35 is a vehicle featured in the Battlefield 3: Back to Karkand expansion. It is featured on Gulf of Oman on Conquest and Wake Island on Conquest Assault. Being a multirole fighter the F-35 has a 25mm cannon and optional air-to-ground Rocket Pods, Guided Missiles or Heat seeking Missiles for a more dedicated air-to-air combat role.

In reality the Su-35 dominates the F-35 in visual range air combat. However, the slight advantages the F-35 has in real-life are not present in the game, while all the disadvantages are. Those being stealth and better targeting systems.

2011年12月30日 · There is no question that the F/A-18 handles a bit better and turns with a bit more urgency than the Su-35. But I've also noticed that a majority of dogfights in this game seem to happen at altitudes below 200 meters. Flying the Su-35 at higher altitudes, I noticed a clear behavrior change in the jet.
